Lofi study timer
25:00
Focus
The lofi feeling, without hunting for the right video: press Start, turn on rain or a crackling fire, and let Rio purr in the background. Your own lofi playlist can play at the same time; the timer never stops it.
Add a sound
Keeps your sounds and their volumes for next time.
How to use it
Press Start, then tap Rain, Fire or Purr. Mix two or three if you like; each has its own volume in the app.
Start your lofi playlist in another tab or app and turn it down a little, so the rain sits underneath the music.
At the bell, the soft sounds fade down for the chime and come back after, so you never lose the mood.
Take the break away from the screen. The sounds keep playing if you want them to.
Sound that stays in the background
Lofi works for studying because it is steady and has no words to follow. Rain and a quiet fire do the same job: a constant sound that covers a noisy room without asking you to listen.
Petmodoro does not play music itself, so there are no ads between songs and no video to keep open. If you want music, any player works next to the timer; if you want silence, nothing plays until you choose a sound.

Questions
Does the timer play lofi music?
No. It has three soft sounds (rain, a crackling fire and a cat’s purr). Play your own lofi playlist next to it in any app.
Will the sounds keep playing in a background tab?
Yes, while a session runs. On Android they keep playing with the screen locked too.
Can I use the sounds without the timer?
The sounds play during a session. To just listen, start a long session and leave it running.
